Don Hunter takes win at The Glen Print

Watkins Glen (29 AUG '10) - After a tremendous demonstration of his speed, the last race winner Yang Ou went off the track and crashed into the barriers after leading the first 49 laps. In the last 11 laps the lead changed three times. In the end Don Hunter won with a smart pit strategy as well as a consistent pace.

Yang Ou wins first race Print

Milwaukee (15 AUG '10) - Very often he was the unlucky person and not able to bring his definitly good pace home. But today was his day. Yang Ou led 196 of 200 miles. Not only that: he led the last mile. On the other side you have to say that it wasn't that easy for Ou to bring it home and get the points into dry cloths.

Get ready for the title! Print

In about 28 hours the last race of the season will start on the super speedway of Michigan. Who will make it become the first iamINDY.de series champion? Top favorite Tim Doyle said earlier the he propably wont be able to make it to the race. This is a great chance for the other conteders Sean Graham, Andrew Aitken and Jeffrey York.

Graham was able to become the first Indy 500 champion of this series some weeks ago. He was always up to the front or close behind. That gave him P2 in the point standings with only 21 points behind the leader.
Andrew Aitken won the last race at Road Atlanta and also showed some good performances during the season. Can he use the momentum to win the title although he is 40 points behind Doyle and still 19 behind Graham?
But even Jeffrey York can make it! York wasn't the fastest guy the season but he was the most consistent one - whitout any question. What is his chance? Because he is 49 points behind he needs to win the race and all of his opponents have to finish without any points. So this is just theoretical...

And to get you finally into the right mood here is a cut from the last IRL race in 2007 - enjoy!

Pagenaud wins - Doyle gets title Print

Michigan (04.07.2010) -
It is always exciting to see the cars wheel to wheel on the high banked super speedway of Michigan. And the early race was very exciting! 15 cars started for the 350 miles - and Simon Pagenaud was the one to win. He held is nose out of trouble all the race long and worked himself through the traffic while starting from P9. Beside that there is another story to tell: the fight for the championship.

Aitken wins at rollercoaster Road Atlanta Print

Braselton (20.06.2010) -
The always sophisticated track Road Atlanta saw a very changing race in the beginning. After setting a safely and fast pole Müller led the first 13 laps without much pressure from behind because the later race winner Aitken got two cutting penalties in a row. Aitken had lift and serve his penalties while the leader pulled away.
